Alumni Association

The purpose of this Association is to promote the general welfare and effectiveness of Southwest Baptist University through:

1.  Strengthening the ties between former students of SBU and ties with current
students, faculty and staff of the University.

2.  Stimulating the interest and activity of the Alumni of SBU.

3.  Preserving and furthering the mission of SBU.

4.  Supporting the University through prayer, volunteering, activities and
     financial support.

The purpose of the Office of Alumni & Church Relations is twofold. It exists to cultivate and nurture alumni resources to their fullest potential. Similarly, it exists to foster and promote lifelong relationships between the university and its graduates and former students.

The SBU National Alumni Board of Directors, a 27-member governing body, is elected to assist in this mission and to chart the course for the Alumni Association.

Alumni Chapters are being established or reorganized in several areas across the U.S., adding another level to the structure to help in these goals.

We trust that as you browse through these pages, you will conclude that the work of the Alumni Association is thriving and that there is opportunity to take an active role in seeing it flourish.
