CIS Research Lab
Room Taylor 111
The CIS Research lab is a Windows NT 100 base TX ethernet networked lab. This lab is used primarily for senior projects, work study, and research projects. This lab has both the Windows NT platform on them but also provides access to Linux based operations as well.

Parallel Processing
Room Taylor 111
The CIS parallel processing system, or Cluster as it is referred to, is a five node parallel processing based system made entirely of spare parts. It is used on occasion for classes dealing with computer parallel processing structures.

 Computer Labs
Room Taylor 221 & 225
These two labs are University labs designed for general purpose use. They are loaded with a wide variety of software to assist the students in their studies. Taylor 221 is also used for CIS based labs. These computers are upgraded every three years so as to be current. These computer have the Windows NT platform loaded on them with access to Linux based processing as well.

 Servers
Room Taylor 111
The Linux server administrates all the Linux based systems in Taylor building. It provides the necessary services needed by the users in all the lab areas. It also provides web page services for students to utilize. The Windows server provides networking services for the CIS Research Lab. It administers through the use of the Windows NT platform.
