In the Start menu, choose Programs | Accessories | Communications | New Connection Wizard. At the beginning screen just click Next to get started.
Select "Connect to the Internet", then click Next.
Choose "Set up my connection manually" and click Next.
Choose "Connect using a dial-up modem," then click Next.
You'll then be prompted to enter a name for the connection.
If this connection will be dialing up to SBU, enter SBU Dialup as the name.
Now enter the phone number you'll be dialing and click Next. The number you will be dialing to is 326-3342
IF you are an employee, use your normal Novell Login username and password. If you are student, use your student ID and password to login into the SBU Dialup. When you have finished, click Next.
On the final screen you can choose to add a desktop shortcut to this dial-up connection. While this is not strictly necessary, it is convenient.
