The Parents Association uses the funds raised by events and membership dues to make campus improvements and help students in rare situations. The organization placed the first of two gazebos on the campus, added furniture in various locations and assists with campus programs such as Welcome Week, SBU's new student orientation program.

Valentine's Day Gifts

The SBU Student Life Office in partnership with the SBU Parents Association once again wants to give you an opportunity to let your student know you are thinking about them through our annual Valentine’s Day project. Your student will receive a beautiful 18” mylar balloon with candy weight for only $6.00 if ordered by Feb. 1, 2008 ($7.00 after Feb 1st).
