Bolivar and the Community

Bike TrailDunnegan Memorial Park
You'll find visitors at the 60-acre park just about anytime of the year. You could see people feeding the ducks at the five-acre lake, children playing on the playground equipment, or people having picnics at one of the four large shelter houses. Many people also enjoy watching (and hearing) the peacocks and peahens roam the park. Dunnegan Memorial Park is located on the north side of Bolivar near Citizen's Memorial Hospital.

Highland Frisco Trail
The 36.4-mile-trail has a smooth crushed gravel surface that makes it perfect for walking or biking. The trail runs from Springfield, Missouri (Kearney & Eldon Streets) to Bolivar, Missouri (Oakland & State Route-83). The north end of the trail in Bolivar has a one-mile asphalt surface.
