Why do you enjoy teaching at SBU?
“I love teaching at SBU because of the students here and their desire to be the best they can be (at least by graduation time). Teaching bright, motivated students in a christian college and being able to have God in the classroom with us is the best of all worlds.”
Educational and Professional Background: Dr. Debauche has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Business Education from Southwest Baptist College, a Masters of Science degree in Marketing and Distributive Education/Curriculum Instruction from Central Missouri State University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education, College Teaching and Business from the University of Arkansas.
Dr. Debauche’s previous employment has been in an advertising firm in Clearwater, Florida and in the legal department at Bulova Watch Company, New York City, as well as teaching high school Marketing and Distributive Education, business, Spanish, and English.
Faith Dedications: Dr. Debauche is a member of First Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri and has served on many committees and as a substitute teacher.
Interests and Hobbies: Shopping, interior decorating, gardening and water gardening, traveling, reading, exercising, and fishing
