FIRST YEAR ~ EXPLORE (All Your Options) (Freshman)
Meet and develop relationships with professors, advisers, and counselors. Ask professors what and why they majored in a certain area in college. Ask professors what they would do differently about their education or past work experiences. Join a club or organization and become involved. Attend a career fair. Meet recruiters, ask questions about the type of individuals they hire, and pick up information on the organizations. Send thank you notes to the individuals you talked with during the career fair. Ask juniors or seniors what they are going to do with their major. Find a summer job that relates to what you think you would like to do after graduation.
