Effective communication is an essential skill in today’s workplace.

The Bob R. Derryberry School of Communication Arts will help you discover and maximize your God-given voice through rigorous study, engaging performances, and the thoughtful application of the dynamic arts of human communication.

The study of communication arts leads to a better understanding and application of the theories and practices involved in effective communication. Increase your personal effectiveness and enlarge your cultural awareness through the development of persuasive, argumentative, interpretative, interpersonal, and media skills.

The study of theatre is designed to prepare you to use your talents in educational, community, Christian, and professional theatre. The department emphasizes performing and practical experience as well as understanding of the human condition through drama.
