Department of Accounting
The Department of Accounting prepares graduates for diversified careers in the practice of public accounting, not-for-profit accounting, internal auditing, federal taxation, and general accounting management, all with a Christ-centered worldview in order to prepare the graduates to be servant leaders in a global society.
Choose between two Bachelor of Science degrees
- Accounting — Covers the application of accounting concepts in current practice.
- Accounting and Information Assurance — Includes the Accounting major and additional coursework principally in Computer Information Science. This expanded degree prepares the graduate with a fundamental understanding of accounting practices, information system design, data management and security, and data forensic principles. This undergraduate AIA major is unique among accounting programs in the Midwest.

- Graduates are ready to take certification exams, especially the CPA Exam. By working with you to create a personalized four-year plan during your senior year of high school, you can earn your degree and complete the 150 hours needed to take the CPA exam — all within four years.
