Paramedic Bridge Program: Paramedic to ASN
Paramedic Application
Missouri licensed paramedics may apply for advanced placement into the associate of science degree in nursing (ASN) program.
Paramedics must:
-Meet admission criteria for Southwest Baptist University
-Meet admission criteria for the ASN program
-Pass the HESI Admission Test
-Pass the HESI Mid-Curriculum Exam
-Complete the following courses:
- BIO 2204 Anatomy & Physiology I
- BIO 3304 Anatomy & Physiology II
- CHE 1104 Principles of Chemistry
- ENG 1113 English Composition I
- PSY 1013 General Psychology
- PSY 3063 Human Growth & Development
- NUR 1104 Paramedic Bridge Course
After the above 25 credit hours have been completed, the paramedics will enter the ASN program at the third semester level.
