"I am a third year medical student at Saint Louis University. I am also a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. The education at received at SBU was top notch. I attend med school with students from some of the best schools in the nation, whether those schools are Ivy League or big state schools on the West Coast.
Compared to my peers, I was as well (or better) educated when I entered medical school. While having a quality education is valuable, the more valuable thing to me was getting that education in a Christ-centered environment. Medicine is made so much more interesting and beautiful when understood from a Christian standpoint. The main goal of a physician is not to cure disease. A physician's main goal should be to give their patients a dignified death. If I hadn't received my education at SBU, I would have no idea what makes a dignified death."
