University Missions is committed to going to the ends of the earth - where those who need to hear the Gospel are waiting. This January SBU Missions will send teams to:
- Guatemala
- Houston
- East Asia
- Cameroon
- Thailand
- Middle East
- New York City
- India
The short-term mission teams vary in ministry involving food & literature distribution, serving in orphanages and on college campuses, prayer-walking, trekking, faith-building, construction/repair, relationship evangelism, various children’s ministries, as well as working with HIV/Aids and the homeless. Students and team members will have opportunities to share their faith with those who hold to different religious beliefs, such as Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Catholicism, Mormonism, animism, atheism, Judaism, etc.
