Why did you choose to work for SBU? My time as a student of SBU was more challenging, rewarding and joyful than I ever imagined possible. I love all that SBU embodies and I am thrilled to begin working alongside the SBU team!
Favorite thing to do in Bolivar: Breakfast at Brenda’s, trips to the Farmer’s Market, Antiquing around town (Pappy’s is incredible!) and cheering on the SBU Football Team!
Favorite college memory: The summer Bolivar became home: endless days at the lake, movie marathons and incredible amounts of 3 G’s ice cream!
Tips for success in first year at SBU: Meet one new person each day; Get to know your professors on a personal level; Get involved on-campus, as well as in the community of Bolivar; Appreciate and embrace diversity; Learn from every experience; Work at everything as if working for the Lord!
What SBU means to me: SBU is home to me. As a student athlete of SBU I was stretched and molded, as well as encouraged and supported. It is here that I was educated both in the classroom and in life, while learning the necessity and joy of sharing community with brothers and sisters in Christ.
