Why did you choose to work for SBU? I had such an amazing experience as a student here at SBU, and I wanted the opportunity to share my amazing experience with prospective students.  SBU has the best work environment you could ask for with Godly leadership and co-workers.  I love meeting new families, introducing them to the warm and welcoming campus here at SBU, and really just showing them how much SBU has to offer them on an individual level. It is so rewarding to be able to walk these students through the process of becoming part of our SBU family.

Favorite thing to do in Bolivar: I love the unique atmosphere and experiences that Bolivar has to offer, such as antique shopping, great restaurants, or just eating ice cream in the beautiful park. Bolivar is always surprising me with new opportunities for fun!

Favorite college memory: There are too many to name, but most of them involve memories created on my hall! Living in the dorm gave me with the best years of my life! I met my best friends here at SBU and I cherished every moment that we got to spend together. I also met my future husband here and because of that SBU holds such a special place in our hearts!

Tips for success in first year at SBU:  Branch out! Embrace the experience of meeting new people. Remember that you are all in the same life stage. I met all of my best friends here at SBU, and I don't know what I would have done without them encouraging me and living life with me!

What SBU means to me: SBU means home to me! My heart belongs here with my sweetheart, best friends, and mentors who helped spur me on and shaped me into the person I am today. This is where my faith has been challenged and I have grown so much in my relationship with the Lord. This is where my dream job became a reality and where I desire for others to come and have the amazing experience that I had here. There is no other place I would rather be!
