Why did you choose to work for SBU? My four years as a student at SBU were incredible. I received a quality education, built amazing relationships, and grew spiritually. I wanted to work as an admissions counselor for SBU so that I can help other students also have a life-changing experience at SBU.
Favorite thing to do in Bolivar: Hang out with friends, eat at El Rodeo, and go to the park.
Favorite college memory: I have so many it is hard to choose just one! My favorite memories are just the times I got to spend with my friends whether it be on a road trip somewhere, swimming in the river, playing cards, or just hanging out!
Tips for success in first year at SBU: Get involved! SBU has so many opportunities to get involved on campus and in the community. Don’t just sit in your dorm room – go out there and meet new people and make an impact. Make the most of your time here.
What SBU means to me: SBU is a place where I can grow academically and spiritually. SBU is like a family to me and a community where people genuinely care about each other and reach out to serve those around them.
