Family: I live with my husband, Paul and daughter, Marley, here in Bolivar Missouri. My parents, sister and 3 of my 5 brothers live are still in Belleville. My other 2 brothers live in Chicago and New Mexico
Why did you choose to work for SBU? I loved the education I received here and really wanted to be able to encourage and show students the opportunities that they would have to grow mentally, spiritually, and socially here at SBU.
Favorite thing to do in Bolivar: Take walks around town with my family. Bolivar has such a relaxing presence about it!
Favorite college memory: One semester there was a group of 10 of us that would stay up all night on Thursdays doing various activities. We were really competitive so that made it a lot of fun. But through that friendships developed into family. We still stay in touch with each other.
What SBU means to me: SBU will always represent growth. There are so many unique people here that you are constantly being challenged in many ways. I experienced that all through my college years and now that I work for the university, I realize that same challenge to develop myself is still placed in-front of me daily.
What’s on my ipod/music currently listening to: I have very eclectic taste! So anyone could find SOMETHING they like on my play lists.
Favorite book/book currently reading: I am not sure if I could pick a favorite however, I just finished reading The Shack.
