Resident Director of Leslie Hall

Hi! My name is Carrie Kann and I am the Resident Director in Leslie Hall. I was born and raised on the west coast in Washington State, and I completed my undergraduate degree in Student & Family Ministry at Corban University in Oregon. I am passionate about seeing students grow and mature in all areas of their lives – physically, spiritually, emotionally, academically, and relationally – and as an RD, I get a front row seat to watching that growth happen!
As an undergrad, I chose to live in the dorms all the way through my senior year of college simply because I so greatly appreciated the tight-knit community that forms there. Dorm life is a unique and wonderful experience, as you literally get the chance to live alongside dozens of other women who are seeking the Lord and navigating through college life together! I believe that living in the dorms has the potential to be one of the richest parts of a student’s college experience, and I look forward to serving each one of the ladies who will become a part of the Leslie Hall story this year.
In my free time I love to travel, try new restaurants, cheer on my favorite football team the Seattle Seahawks, and embrace my west coast roots by drinking Starbucks frappuccinos while reading one of the many books constantly stacked on my desk. If I could have a dog in the dorm, I absolutely would, (wishful thinking, I know!) and I love to play cards and board games with friends. There are almost always homemade chocolate chip cookies in my kitchen, so feel free to stop in and have one!
