I grew up in rural Missouri at Logan Valley Christian Retreat which my parents started when I was young. I graduated from SBU in 2006 with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies and Sociology, and shortly after married Matthew Burke, currently Resident Director of Landen Hall. Our first two years of marriage we lived in Brooklyn, New York learning about church planting, and I was a Social Worker in Truancy in the Lower East side of Manhattan. Though my husband and I believed we were moving to Philadelphia to begin graduate studies the Lord called us back to Bolivar to invest in the Kingdom shakers of tomorrow.
