Why did you choose to teach at SBU? “I am deeply grateful for the experiences I had as an undergraduate music student at SBU. It is a pleasure and a privilege to serve as a faculty member here.”
What advice do you have for prospective students? “You are not here to get a degree. You are here to pursue an education. Intelligence is not a substitute for hard work. You have a grand and glorious opportunity before you that few others are privileged to have. Take full advantage of it!”
What is your favorite thing to do in Bolivar/Southwest Missouri? “One of my favorite places in Bolivar is 3Gs Frozen Custard! We also enjoy visiting the State Parks in the area. Our current favorite is Lake of the Ozarks State Park.”
