To receive any state and federal financial aid for which you may qualify, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and send it to SBU. You will then receive a customized financial aid award letter from SBU.
Submit the FAFSA by February 1 prior to your start term at SBU to maximize your financial aid opportunities.
Make plans to attend Bearcat Days, an overnight admitted student event held at SBU in March. During Bearcat Days you will:
Ready to secure your spot in classes and housing? Make it official by sending in your $200 nonrefundable enrollment deposit. This deposit is a prepayment on your tuition and will reserve your spot in classes and allow you to sign up for campus housing. Ask your admissions counselor if you have any questions!
Come to a Summer Orientation event to receive your class schedule for the fall, learn about Welcome Week and meet your future classmates! Stay tuned for dates and sign-up information.
